Hailing from Cleveland and two architect parents, Maryn first studied design and mechanical engineering across the street from where she was born, so she loves to build stories that connect across time, that people can live in and be moved by.
An alumna of the American Film Institute Conservatory, she is also a member of the Society of Camera Operators, IATSE Local 728 lighting union, and ASC Vision Mentorship Program with mentor Mandy Walker, ASC, ACS.
When not on a film production, you can find her teaching Cinematography at AFI, at yoga, pole, spin, under the sun or cooking with a podcast on.
