Hailing from Cleveland and two architect parents, Maryn first studied design and mechanical engineering across the street from where she was born, so she loves to build things that people can see and live in.
An alumna of the American Film Institute Conservatory, she is also a member of the Society of Camera Operators, lighting union IATSE Local 728, and part of the ASC Vision Mentorship Program with mentor Mandy Walker, ASC, ACS.
When not on a shoot, you can find her teaching Cinematography at AFI, at yoga, pole, spin, under the sun, or cooking with a podcast on.
